The Strategy of MORNING PRAYER

One reason prayer is so powerful besides being a vehicle to communicate with God and build our faith is it enables us to get our minds right so that we can develop a thought life that is clear, focused and purpose-driven. Most people don't think of prayer as a strategy or a tool, but it is....because a strategy is a plan of action and a tool is an instrument one uses to build and repair.

Prayer enables us to take decisive action and come up with a strategy for dealing with whatever we are going through and when we pray God's word (the Bible) we find solutions for dealing with any and every situation, whether it's: money troubles, relationship issues, problems on the job or an issue in your own mind. Prayer allows us to build faith, courage, perseverance and resilience.

Prayer enables us to guard our thoughts, in the way that a soldier guards his camp against a military attack. And there are some things in life that will try to attack your mind, mood and attitude on a military-like level to abort your purpose and shoot down your hope and confidence.

There's a reason that we use the term Spiritual Battle when the enemy of fear, worry depression or a negative external situation tries to kill, steal and destroy our peace and provision, It's because when the enemy of fear, depression and negativity from others come against us the first thing these enemies do is mess with out head.

Never forget that prayer is as much of a strategy as any other tactical strategy that you might utilize to advance in life, increase your personal effectiveness and defeat those things that try to zap what belongs to you.

Prayer is not only a form of communication, it is a tactical, intentional powerful strategy to get your mind right, your emotions under control, your conduct in alignment with what you know is good and right and your choices on track with your purpose..

Philippians 4:6 tells us this...."Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God."

So if there is a situation at work or in your personal life that is creating anxiety for you, utilize the STRATEGY of PRAYER to ask for guidance and make your requests known.
