Today’s Fast: Today We Are Fasting from the choice to… Self-Sabotage
Today I want to jump into your inbox and talk to you about self-sabotage and how to stop being your own worst enemy when it comes to your peace of mind, your joy, your dreams you've put on the back-burner as well as your overall well-being and confidence. Most of us are our own worst enemy. If we are honest, most people sabotage their own success and progress by either giving into their moods, being easily offended and not sticking with a good idea long enough to bring it into fruition.
The key to stop being your own worst enemy is to start becoming your own best friend. The way to become your own best friend is to stop engaging in self-sabotaging behavior.
A self-sabotaging behavior is a choice that undermines your goals, wellbeing, health and your self-esteem. Some of the most common self-sabotaging behaviors are procrastination, smoking, laziness, abusing prescription drugs and alcohol, illegal drug use, comfort eating, over-spending, going back to a relationship that you know you need to let go of and behaving in other ways that are harmful, hurtful and, or self-destructive.
An important part of abstaining from self-sabotaging behavior is getting honest about the choices we make or fail to make that undermine our efforts, our progress and our success. Today, get honest about the choices that you’re making that are leading to self-sabotage and choose to become your own best friend by not allowing self-destructive behaviors to become your master..
Today Is A New Day
It’s new because the sun has risen this morning.
It’s new because you have arisen to meet it.
And the risen version of you has the power and capacity to rise to the occasion and handle your business for today.
