How To Get More Peace & Calm From Your Prayers

Does prayer give you a sense of peace, calm, and clarity while you are praying? But what happens after you end your prayer? Do you continue to go through your day with a sense of peace, calm, and clarity? Or do you become reactive to the people, situations and circumstances that come your way and as a result you are back in a place of inner turmoil?

It's important to understand that prayer is not only a conversation with God it is also a spiritual wellbeing tool that gives you the keys to your inner kingdom. A kingdom that is filled with peace, wisdom, intuition and discernment.

If you want to get more from your prayers, here is something that you can do immediately after you pray to add more power to your prayers. After you say your prayer you can choose to approach the rest of your day from the space of the prayer that you just prayed. Meaning approach the rest of your day as if your prayer has already been answered. This enables you to take charge of your frame of mind by deciding to believe that God not only heard your prayer but that God is also with you wherever you are and whatever you are going through.

It's important to remind ourselves that God sees everyone as valuable and worthy of loving, saving and guiding. Everyone includes you too. The Bible says, “[God] desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” (1 Timothy 2:4 ESV). Let the truth of this scripture comfort you.
